What the scan checks

Six stages between a product page and a recommendation

Six stages an AI-assisted shopper moves through, each scored from your public pages. The scores shown are the sample store's.

  1. FindableCrawlability
    100

Can automated shoppers reach the pages that matter, or do robots rules and no-index signals turn them away?

  2. ReadableStructured data
    86

Do product pages publish machine-readable facts, such as price, availability, and ratings, that an assistant can quote?

  3. ConvincingPDP detail
    65

Do product pages say who each product is for, what it is made of, and what sets it apart, in a shopper's words?

  4. TrustedTrust signals
    77

Are reviews, ratings, and policies present and readable, rather than buried in scripts or images?

  5. ComparableComparison coverage
    78

Do you own pages that compare options, or do comparison questions get answered by someone else?

  6. QuotableAnswer snippets
    59

Are shipping, returns, and sizing answers short and plain enough to lift straight into an answer?

Common questions

What is Findwise?

Findwise is an AI shopping readiness scanner for ecommerce stores. It reads your public storefront, scores six categories, and returns prioritized content, schema, and engineering fixes with an owner for each.

How do I get AI to recommend my products?

Make them easy to understand from your public pages. AI shopping systems can only recommend what they can read: product facts in structured data, product detail that says who an item is for, reviews and policies they can cite, and pages that answer comparison questions. A Findwise scan shows which of those your store already has and which are missing.

What is an AI readiness assessment for ecommerce?

An AI readiness assessment checks whether an online store's public pages give AI-assisted shoppers what they need to work with: product facts in structured data, product detail that says who an item is for, policies and reviews they can cite, and pages that answer comparison questions. A Findwise scan is one. It scores six categories from your public pages and lists what to fix first, with an owner for each.

How does Findwise help your products get recognized and recommended by AI?

It scans your store's public pages, scores six categories, and returns a prioritized list of content, schema, and engineering fixes with an owner for each.

Who is Findwise for?

Ecommerce founders, growth, SEO, and merchandising leads, and the agencies that work with them. Typically stores with 50 to 5,000 products on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or a headless stack.

How is this different from SEO?

SEO asks whether a search engine can rank your pages. Findwise asks whether an AI shopping system could understand, trust, compare, and recommend your products from those pages. It is not a page-speed audit and not a generic AI visibility score.

Does Findwise test AI assistants?

No. Findwise reads your store's public pages and estimates how well AI shopping systems could find, understand, trust, compare, and recommend your products. Buyer-prompt coverage is always labelled Estimated, and no score is a claim about how any particular assistant answers.

Is there a free scan?

Yes. The free preview includes the overall score and grade when enough evidence is available, scores for the categories the scan could assess, one finding with why it matters and a recommended fix, one buyer-question answer preview, Estimated buyer-prompt coverage across four question groups, and a count of findings held back. If the scan reads no product page in full, the preview has no overall score or grade, and says why. The full report adds findings held back from the preview in priority order, each with its owner and recommended fix, plus source pages and estimated buyer-question patterns. Prices live on the pricing page; checkout starts on your finished scan's page.

How is the example report different from a real scan?

The example report is a sample built from Findwise's own test pages for sales and education. It is not your store's results and is not for purchase as a live report. Enter your store URL to run a real scan.

What does Findwise cost?

A full scan costs $20. The free preview includes one finding.

How do I start?

Enter your store's address in the scan bar above. The scan page shows its progress while it runs; enter your email there and the free preview opens on that page. Public pages only, nothing to install.
